It’s been 4 months since I moved from Syracuse to Maine. Not a whole lot has changed with me as my life mostly consists of work then study then repeat. Fortunately though, I have been getting out and about in Maine pretty often. But I’ve decided it hasn’t been enough. Since I’m not getting out very much, this blog has become stagnant as I’ve been at a loss for what to write.

So I asked some friends what I should do—how I could get out more, write more and hopefully, encourage others to get outside more as well.

And a good friend came up with the idea of writing a Maine bucket list.

Not that I’m planning on kicking the bucket anytime soon, but just a list of all the places I want to go, things I need to do, and shenanigans I need to get into before I move back to NY. (Like this, but way more affordable and local!) I am absolutely loving Maine and all the outdoorsy-ness just outside Lewiston. Now all I have to do is get out there more.

Here’s where I need your help. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be writing my list of all that I need to climb, hike, swim, jump, do, see, hear, etc. I’ll be checking things off my list (hopefully) each week and reporting back here. I currently have a few things in mind, but I really need your help to fill out the rest. Not sure how long it’ll be just yet…25, 50, 100?…but it’ll be good.

Here’s a bit of what’s on my list so far:

Hike Mt. Kineo Maine

I want to hike Mt. Kineo at Moosehead Lake.

Acadia National Park Maine

I, of course, need to get out to Acadia National Park!

So please, write down all that I need to see and do no matter how big or small in the comments below. I’ll be adding your ideas to my list!
